Community-rooted humanitarian action since 1998
Save the Rural Society (SRS) is a non-governmental, non-profit, secular, and non-partisan organization serving vulnerable pastoralist and agro-pastoralist communities in the Somali Region and Ethiopia.

Who We Serve
SRS prioritizes women, children, elders, youth, refugees, and internally displaced persons based on needs assessments and community consultations.
Consortium Engagement
SRS is a founding and board member of the Non-State Actors Coalition, contributing to advocacy, governance, humanitarian response, and peacebuilding.

Accountability Framework
Finance, procurement/logistics, HR, safeguarding, child protection, health and safety, supervision, and reporting policies guide transparent and compliant operations.
SRS also advances gender inclusion, diversity, and community participation in all program cycles.
